Pivot table.
Totals by row and by column
The pivot table totals a table along two axes: by client and by month, by crew and by status. A click on a cell shows the records that make it up.
What it shows
A grid of totals: count, sum, average, minimum or maximum.
What you do with it
- Choose the rows, the columns and the value.
- Click on a cell to see its detail.
What the table needs
- A field to group by for the rows.
- Optional: a field for the columns, a numeric value.
